About the Practice

Dr. Jesu Jacob — Sports Medicine & Musculoskeletal Care of New York, is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in joint restoration and sports medicine. His areas of interest include all areas of basic and advanced shoulder and knee arthroscopy along with the more complex areas such as multi ligamentous knee injuries, revision arthroscopic surgeries, meniscal transplants, articular cartilage restoration, and major joint reconstructions (shoulder, hip and knee).

Our goal is to return an individual to their preinjury level of function by offering a wide gamut of effective treatment modalities. This includes both nonoperative and operative treatments, supervised activity-specific physical therapy, and interventional pain management.

Dr. Jacob likes to take an interdisciplinary approach when treating patients since this has proven to be successful in even the most demanding athlete. This includes specialties like physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, and chiropractic medicine in addition to the orthopaedic surgical interventions that he provides.
